"Birds of Paradise" Original Watercolor Painting

These flowers are well-named.  Need I say more? Another landscape from my series inspired by the Hawai'i Tropical Botanical Gardens outside of Hilo. I love it when life forms are named after each other- like zebra fish or wolf spiders. In the back right of this scene, there's a bird's nest fern: a good companion for the foreground cover.
