There's a subtle joke for plant nerds: there’s a bird’s nest fern in here too. Large bird’s nest ferns are highly prized, and they used to line the sides of the road to the fruit farm I stayed at this summer. Houseplant people are very serious about expanding their collections, even in Hawaii where you are surrounded by plants every time you go outside.
